Kirchenaustritt
Den Austritt aus einer Kirche, Religionsgemeinschaft oder Weltanschauungsgemeinschaft müssen Sie gegenüber dem für Ihren Wohnsitz oder gewöhnlichen Aufenthalt zuständigen Standesamt erklären.
Dies können Sie tun, indem Sie den Austritt persönlich zur Niederschrift beim für Sie zuständigen Standesamt erklären.
Alternativ erklären Sie den Austritt ohne Bedingungen und Zusätze auf einem einfachen Dokument, lassen Ihre Unterschrift durch einen Notar beglaubigen und reichen das Dokument anschließend postalisch beim Standesamt ein. Bringen Sie zum Notartermin einen gültigen Ausweis mit und — sofern vorhanden — Unterlagen, aus denen sich Ihre Religionszugehörigkeit ergibt.

Sortie de l’Église
Vous devez déclarer votre sortie d’une Église, d’une communauté religieuse ou d’une communauté philosophique auprès du bureau de l’état civil (Standesamt) compétent pour votre domicile ou votre résidence habituelle.
Vous pouvez le faire en déclarant votre sortie en personne, par procès-verbal, auprès du bureau de l’état civil compétent pour vous.
Vous pouvez également déclarer votre sortie — sans conditions ni ajouts — sur un simple document, faire certifier votre signature par un notaire, puis adresser le document par courrier au bureau de l’état civil. Apportez au rendez-vous chez le notaire une pièce d’identité valable et — le cas échéant — des documents attestant de votre appartenance religieuse.

Leaving the church
You must declare your departure from a church, religious community or philosophical community to the registry office (Standesamt) responsible for your place of residence or habitual abode.
You can do this by declaring your departure in person, recorded in writing, at the registry office responsible for you.
Alternatively, you declare your departure — without conditions or additions — on a simple document, have your signature certified by a notary and then submit the document to the registry office by post. Please bring a valid form of identification to the notary appointment and — if available — documents establishing your religious affiliation.
